Anyone here watching the Supermoon tonight? It'll be my 1st time seeeing one, I'm a celestial virgin.

[Del]

I saw one last night (Friday June 21st) and it looked pretty good. Tonight's is going to be even bigger?

[Del]

Half of this state is on fire, I bet it'll be bright red from the smoke!

[Del]

>>2 Shit, I didn't even look for it yesterday (6/21). What region are you?

>>3 It's blazing here too, lol. That'd be cool to see.

5 Name: E [Del]

>>2 I dunno, I haven't heard much about it.

Bitch, I've seen more supermoons than there are thorium decay products. In fact, I go out moon viewing every time there's a clear view of the full moon. In my experience supermoons aren't that much different to ordinary full moons.

Thug life.

>In my experience supermoons aren't that much different to ordinary full moons.

Yeah, that's what I've been told. Still fascinating to me.

The supermoon was pretty fun to watch.

Actually, it was really boring.

[Del]

>>10
I agree, it looked just like a normal moon!

But it was a good excuse to get frozen yogurt and sit on a hill

LOOK WHAT YOU'VE DONE

XSS?

[Del]

>>18 This is why I don't like JavaScript in the browser.

[Del]

>>22
I use noscript by default. I take the effort to temporarily permit scripts every time I use my Firefox.

[Del]

>>23 Sensible. The problem is thus under the rug, where it won't bother anyone.

[Del]

>>22
Such things can be done without JavaScript. Just hover your mouse pointer over this post...

[Del]

>>25 Nice. Still a different animal, though. It doesn't keep doing things to my browser or network when I'm not looking.

[Del]

>>18
How did you do that?

[Del]

>>26
How about this, then?

[Del]

>>28 Ok, now I am impressed.
And I will use this as argument why JS is not necessary in the browser.

Still distasteful, though.

Who ever thought that animations would be a good idea for document styling?

Whatever next, the inevitable return of blink and marquee?

How long will it take leaving the thread open until >>28 takes up the entirety of my RAM?

37 Post deleted by user.

[Del]

>>36
It shouldn't ever take up the entirety of your RAM. Its RAM usage should be constant unless your browser is horribly broken.

[Del]

>>35 Eye should have seen that coming. At least it is not blinking marquee with cycling colours... WHY DID I JUST SAY THAT?

[Del]

>>39
Because you wanted to see this?

[Del]

>>38 The bee is eating my CPU. (RAM usage remains constant.)

[Del]

>>40 Your posts seems deserted. Mayhap it needs JS for to display.

[Del]

>>42
i have js off, and i can see it... i just checked and it shows up in chrome, firefox, opera, and even internet explorer.

[Del]

>>43 Impressive.
It doesn't in midori, even though it uses webkit. The CPU goes to 100, it probably is just to slow. On my other rig, it does show up in webkit, but is too fast to be read. Konqueror displays it nicely, as just plain text.

Don't let your guard down. The moon may come back.

On this first of December, at dawn, look to the east. Just below Mercury you should see, in all likelihood, snow bearing clouds covering the sky.

Visiting for the first time in years(?), I am glad to see the bee is still around. I eagerly await the next supermoon.

[Del]

I missed the supermoon again! Is this bee ever lonely?
