good japanese band (11)

1 Name: Rain Drops [Del]

Does anyone here know of good, in your views of the world, somewhat obscure japanese band. I am fine with any genre of music but I do have a like for shibuya-kei, pop-rock, and some sort of electronic music. I discover most of my artist from a blog, it's a nice blog with a list of japanese band. Here are some bands to convey my likes to you: three berry icecream, frenesi, local bus, nagisa cosmetic. Just a small list there but it should get my likes across to you. If you have any more to add feel free to write them for me to read and I would check them out.

Voodoo Vault?

3 Name: Unspecified [Del]

>Voodoo Vault

The blog is called Vault of Heaven.

Taken from the blog:

>Yogurk was born in 2014 as an independent Japanese indie music blog with the desire to contribute significantly and offer downloads of music.

Japanese indie genre is quite difficult to find on the internet, so I try to make things easier for everyone.

>Most of the discographies are not complete because I was not able to find all discs, this means that if I find any missing'll add it as soon as possible.

I don't download the songs through the links given on the blog but instead find them on music hosting site. THe blog is good for discovering japanese groups that are new to me.

4 Name: Chikyuu Monogatari Telepath [Del]

I think a very good japanese band is Swinging Popsicle. If you haven't heard of them give them a listen. They have a pop-rock sound which I do enjoy listening to. I would recommend their song called "Seseragi" to you if this is your first time hearing about them.

Anyways if you have or know of any internet blog that talks about Japanese Indie Music I would like to check it out.

The band "Capsule" is one of the only ones I know besides Nagisa Cosmetic. I know some non female vocalist bands too but their name is in Japanese.

That shibuya-kei era of music has completely died out. It almost feels like lounge music in places. Majority of it was created in the late 90's till the mid 2000's. House Electro took off after this point for bands signed to a major label.

6 Name: Used Onahole [Del]

Thank you for your reply number 5, it makes my brain happy to know that there is someone who likes what I also like as well. I gave Capsule a listen and they are okay, I will try to listen to more of their song so that current feeling might change.

> I know some non female vocalist bands too but their name is in Japanese

I am interested.

7 Name: キタ━━━━━━━━( ・∀・)━━━━━━━━!!!! [Del]

Why is your name "Used Onahole".

8 Name: Allison Mack [Del]

Hello number 7 I had just finished masturbating with an onahole when I wrote that post so when I was thinking of a name that name appeared to me, Used Onahole.

9 Name: キタ━━━━━━━━( ・∀・)━━━━━━━━!!!! [Del]

I like Mass of the Fermenting Drega, they are more post-rockish, and probably not that obscure really, but you're not the boss of me Allison so I'm posting them anyway.

10 Name: Salyu [Del]

I will check them out number 9. I think you might be interested in this band called Coaltars of the Deeper. Here is a song from them that I will recommend to you, "The End of Summer", if this is your first time hearing about them.

Fantastic Plastic Machine for shibuya-kei, Melt-Banana for noise rock, Toe for relaxing math rock, and some Sheena Ringo for art pop. I know a few others but those are my favorite
