Personally I find that mangas are better. Not only are they the source material and have things that the anime won't, it's also faster to read more stuff in a shorter amount of time. They have a certain feeling to them that anime doesn't. Still, anime is nice, it has the aspect of having sound. Pretty important if you take for example HnK.

If a manga gets an adaption its nice and feels like a good addition (in most cases)

All of the best manga never get adaptations so I feel bad for the people that only watch anime.

All the best anime always get manga adaptations so yeah.

Manga is the better format.

I like reading a manga, then going back to watch the anime to see it told in a slightly altered.
