Are there any other witches here?

[Del]

how do you send modified headers like that

[Del]

I'm curious as to whether or not this exploit still works.

[Del]

Personally, I find this website more aesthetically pleasing with everything italicised.

interesting... I was not aware of that one.

but then, it's not so interesting when a different one allows inserting arbitrary html.

Is that the same trick that lets you make every single element a link to wikipedia and strikethrough all text so it's impossible to post on any thread below it including it?

you have comic sans set as your "cursive" font? why would you do that to yourself?

[Del]

>>29
Only insane people would do that. Looks like the people from this board are insane indeed

[Del]

Thanks, now I have only 3.5GHz out of 3.6GHz of my CPU.

[Del]

>>32
3.6GHz? A clock speed like that can only mean that your CPU is an inefficient pile of shit. My CPU is currently running at 384MHz with only one of its four cores active, and I'm only getting about 2% CPU usage with this page open in Google Chrome. And my entire computer (including the 1080p display and wireless internet connection) is running on about half a watt from a solar panel.

What are the specs on your rig?

[Del]

>>34
It's an HTC One running CM12 with a custom kernel. I don't usually have it set up for quite this low level of power usage (cellular radio turned off, screen brightness all the way down, wifi limited to really low power), but it's still quite usable.

[Del]

>>35 Nice. Would you recommend it as a workstation, and why not?

[Del]

>>36
With a Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and a decent-sized wireless display, sure. Without those, it's usable, but I wouldn't really recommend it.
One big downside is the limited storage, though. Only 32GB, and if you use the only USB port in host mode there's no way to connect external power.

around midnight on December 21st, 2014, all the hands on that clock will be pointing close to straight down: December solstice, new moon, solar nadir, and down is zero for the "minute" and "second" (12 and 360 cycles per day, respectively) hands.

[Del]

>>41 Woah. Mind = blown. I'll keep an eye on that.

Also, did the clock face change?

[Del]

>>42
yes, the face changed, and the "minute" hand now goes around 4 times per day instead of 12, for reasons. the lines on the face are designed to provide useful markers where they intersect (quarters, sixths, eighths, twelfths, twenty-fourths).

there's also a sideral clock (with sidereal month and year as well as time of day).

[Del]

>>43 Way cool.

Confusing, because I don't know how to read them and the hands don't agree at all.

But far out. +1, would like again.

for the one in >>38:

  • orange hand:

    • down: December solstice
    • left: March equinox
    • up: June solstice
    • right: September equinox
  • blue hand:

    • down: new moon
    • left: first quarter
    • up: full moon
    • right: last quarter
  • thick black hand:

    • down: solar nadir
    • up: solar noon

for the sidereal one:

  • orange hand = sun
  • blue hand = moon
  • thick black hand = local meridian

[Del]

>>45 Interesting. I'll keep an eye on them.
