You cannot directly predict honey production from the number of bees, you have to know more about the surrounding flora as well as degree of latitude and which month are we on the yearly blooming cycle. Bees sleep at night so you also wanna look into some butterflies to maximize pollination during nighttime. Pollen collects in water puddles in massive amounts so you can easily collect the water after rain (or from a river etc..) and feed the bees on it by slowly pouring it over the hive (do this at night so the workers don't notice right away) and when they wake up they have a nutritious breakfast and work more efficiently. Get rid of any pollen traps as these will stress workers and hinder the honey production at the cost of slightly decreased microparticles per cubic inch in the product. When bee goes to collect honey from a flower there is a small chance of being stunned by an ant. If your local climate and ecology supports antlion farming, you can get antlions to prey on the ants that would prey on the bees. If you go this route make sure the hive is at least few feet into the air so the antlion worms don't reach it and get mistaken for bee worms because this would have catastrophical consequences.
