Bop It is a series of toys released by Hasbro. Each toy presents the challenge of following spoken instructions on which button to press, without being too hasty and pressing the button which you think you will be asked to press.
There is no question that playing games such as Bop It will condition the player to follow instructions more accurately. Accuracy refers to both the time of when the instructions are carried out and if they are carried out correctly.
Now, it may seem that Bop It will improve the player's ability to choose his actions carefully and with discipline. However, in most cases, what the game does improve is the player's ability to receive instructions semi-consciously and carry them out without much thought. This is proven and determined by the technique that is chosen by the player.

The player may either attempt to:
1) Think carefully about his actions
2) Allow his subconscious to do the "heavy lifting"
These two options are equivalent to:
1) Allow the conscious more control than the subconscious
2) Allow the subconscious more control than the conscious

Choosing option #1 is what usually causes players to fail the game, while choosing option #2 is what usually allows players to win the game. If option #1 is chosen and practiced, then the line, "Bop It will improve the player's ability to choose his actions carefully and with discipline," will be true. Learning this skill would be beneficial to the player -- but it is likely that any casual player would eventually adapt and choose option #2 over option #1, before the benefits of using option #1 would be seen. For this reason, option #2 will be the main point of discussion.

There are a few questions that I would like to answer:
1) If the ability to allow the subconscious to receive and carry out instructions is improved, would agreeableness also improve? (i.e., compliance, cooperativeness)
2) Will the dominance of the subconscious over the conscious while playing Bop It continue for events other than "receiving and following instructions?" (or, will it even apply to receiving and following instructions that are not given by the Bop It game?)
